question bout EVO's
No. There are 3 models in the USA. 1 is the EVO VII or IX RS (no power windows, no abs, no HID, and aluminum roof) 2 Is the EVO VIII or IX with the option of SSL (sunroof, upgraded stereo, and leather) 3 Is the EVO VIII MR (05) or EVO IX MR (06) (HID, aluminum roof, BBS rims, vortex generator, Bilstien susupenion, 6 speed tranny, and no lift package for 06).

yea i dont like the rs, cuz it ahs no spoiler, evo without the spoiler imho, doesnt look right, but thtas jsut me, ill prolly settle for an 06 evo IX gsr

well it is not like you can't buy a wing! That is not the problem with the RS. But that it doesn't have ABS, power windows or keyless entry, now that is something I couldn't live with. And I used to say that about wingless evos but the look of them really grows on you!
But if I where you, I would go for the IX gsr. I can't afford a new one, as I am importing the car to Iceland(I donīt have one yet) but I will be getting a 05 if all goes well.

there's nothing "top of the line" about the MR evo, only that it costs you 6 more grand, has 6 speed tranny and different shocks in the back, and a bunch of emblems on the car that say "MR this, MR that" big deal, imo... not worth the extra 6 grand, getta RS or GSR and use the money you saved for mods

6 grand is alot of money though, but if you have it why not? 6speed is more fun than 5 IMO.

yea power windows is a must for me, i hate roll down ****s, and keyless entry
