congrats... read mod lists of others and what other people have done successfully before talking about specific parts like BOV.

Same here! Can't help it. Had a ford explorer for a while as a daily driver, but had to get rid of it because i could not stay away from my IX.

Forget the Teg. The Evo would be a much better daily driver and much more fun anyway. Don't waste it by keeping it in the garage except for when it's parked at home. When you're ready to mod, let me know. My special package for the IX is inexpensive, has no unnecessary parts, is very powerful, and is backed by what I consider to be the top vendor in the EVO community.

a bit of friendly advice, just make sure to follow your manual and change oil at the time that it specifies, first change should be done at 5k, the others can be done every 3 thousand, and stay with factory oil, mobil 1 10w30

have fun with your new evo!!

Get the BOV, you'll be fine. If you like the sound good for you. Its your evo so you can do what you want with it.

I would probably think about the BOV.... If I'm gonna do it.. that's probably the very very last thing I'm gonna (IF, i'm gonna do it though)... right now... exhaust and boost gauge!
Since I'm new wit EVO I don't really know anything about the warranty for this... it's not like my civic... so I'm really careful what I will install on my car... I bought the service contract and I don't wanna void it you know because of some mistakes...

If your worried about your warranty FIRST before you order anything contact mitsu and ask them what parts they will let you have without voiding your warranty, then get it in writing.... i have heard of them dening warranty claims for a aftermarket boost gauge. good luck

BTW: If you want to hear your BOV get a aftermarket intake with a tune, or APS makes a duel port BOV (vents, and recir) so it wont hurt your cars performance but you will have the sound.
