Guys I have a evo 9, need to install my plates in the front. Is there a way that I can install the plate garnish kit without drilling the bumper?

the top and side ones the holes should be there the side is behind the screen in the corner, the bottome bolt goes in the bumper itself, if you dont use it it will rub on your bumper anyway, just stick it in the windshield

 

I've seen some things on ebay which drill under the bumper so the holes are not visible looking at the car from the front. Not sure about their fitment with the Evo though.

 

so I purchased my evo, drove it home, took off the front plates coming to find out there are 3 HUGE holes on the bumper to hold the plate. They wouldn't do anything about it.

i'm sure zip ties will hold it somewhere in the bumper

 

Does New York requires plates in the front? Would cops still pull you over even you place it in your dashboard?

 

New York Requires the plate on the drivers side front of the vehicle. The dealer did not install the plate at delivery. I was pulled over that night and was recited the law by a ***** NYS Trooper. Whats worse is I did the plate bracket install the next day following the pathetic instructions and drilled the holes wrong. The plate and braket are skewed slightly and as you can imagine I'm pissed....
P.S. did the dealer give you guys any gas when you picked up your Evo's. Mine didn't but there was only 4 miles on the Odo..
