The paint wasn't much worse... it already had swirl marks from the dealer doing a bad wax job.

Of course, my first stop when I got home was pressure washing all of the sand out. But the AC blew out sand for a few days

Looks like fun but the snow is more fun and not so bad for the car. If I was getting rid of my car I would do the same if we had sand in Chicago

Post up a large version so I can use it for a background! Looks like fun. Just because what you decide to do with your EVO may not be personally approved does not mean that I cannot enjoy in your personal self divulge. Looks like FUN!

wow.... so you must have drove it throught the salt water river to get to that part of the beach. So how many new suspension noises do you have now??

You are a very smart person..... but i think you already know that.

You must not have been to Pismo lately. No more river.

And yes, I am a super genius. Thanks for asking.

Offroad is one thing. Sand! That stuff is nasty! I don't even like taking my moutain bike in sand... forget about my EVO. (Although my bike is worth more than some people pay for their cars... but still). That stuff just gets everywhere and into things... and it's a lot harder than dirt or mud. Dirt is softer and finer... it will make a mess and gum things up... but sand... it'll eat things up.

I don't deny the fact that this was probably a heck of a lot of fun to do... but I would feel extreme guilt subjecting my baby to that.

that looks like a lot of fun... i guess to each is own... you do sand drifts, i do snow drifts.. ALSO.. i feel sorry for the poor guy who is gonna end up w/ that car... not knowing it was raped on the beach hahaha... not knockin you.. but if you can afford an Evo.. I would much rather rent a dune buggy or a quad or wutever for a day...

Nah, it was no problem at all. It did take a little throttle to get moving from a stop, but it wasn't bad.

Not sure about grover beach, but it sounds familiar. Nice Lambo.

Holy crap... you drive a Lambo! Nice!

How does the EVO hold up to your Lambo?
