Evo VIII in the sand

Here are a few pics of my old Evo VIII in the sand at Pismo Beach here in California. There are from last summer... good times.

Yeah, it defies all logic to take a new $30,000 car into the sand, but it was awesome! Nothing like AWD rooster tails. Plus I knew I wasn't keeping it forever.

I'll never forgot the looks on the faces of several RWD truck owners stuck in the sand as I passed them in my import

Personally I'd be more worried to drive my car aggressively in gravel since it's one of the acd setting.

Nope, it was a 2003 w/o the ACD.

That looks like it would be a blast! However, I would have to save up a lot of cash before doing that so i could take it straight to the paint shop. How was the paint after doing that?

that looks like fun....glad you didnt get stuck!......hope you at least got it up on a lift and pressure washed the undercarriage

scratches, sand sand and more sand!! looks fun tho, if someone gave me an awd car to do that i would but no way im gonna do that in my evo! sand gettin stuck in engine, axles, drive shaft, air filter, not kool
