No, because I want to stay in Stock class for autocross purposes; but I would be interested in a device that would let me have more power for driving in the twisties that I could remove for autocross to stay legal.
What's in the little box?

No flash yet. Had no flash on my 8 either. I don't want a piggyback for my purpose, I don't want a harness or splice my wires (impedance changes). I don't want a 90's tech mickey mouse "volume adjuster" (safc), nor a PITA adjustable boost "controller" (HKS fuzzy scrambler crap) - been there done that.
I have a very good idea about what it takes to reprogram the factory goodies, when used by a knowledable person are great tools (Nissan ECCS, etc). I've seen bit-flippers (peeps that can read HEX, bought a burner, but have no clue how to tune an engine), chip scrapers (an old notable one was JET when they tried redoing the vg30dett, "gains" came from just pill resize), table mashers (Dinan at one time put FF in all cells of a vg30dett det table, also saying that area not used) - it takes a long time, tons of logging, and some sort of "inside" factory knowledge (time or you know an internal geek or two) to wrangle the factory ECU. The factory will also make in-year code revisions as they learn themselves - chasing the same gremlins or performance adders like the better tuners are doing.
Anyways...with all the hype and mud slinging it's difficult because I know nothing about Mitsu boxes, and who can walk the talk. It's taken a long time to sort things out. Selection is drawing close now that a cool reprogrammer is coming.
