Steve's a good guy and he does a good job with his business. As far as some of the other vendors go, I agree with the original poster.

Thanks for the kind words. I am sure he doesn't mean us, but i would love to help him out with whatever he is looking for, i know as a consumer as well some places lack in the customer service and honesty area.

NYEVO8,

Great post and very true! If it weren't for us the consumers they wouldn't have their current jobs. If I get screwed over once that's it no more of my money goes to that establishment! If they don't answer my calls or PMs I go with someone else. Most of these vendors will price match so stick with someone you like and then ask them to honor the best prices. I have found that they are more than happy to do this for me. Guess what, I still keep coming back!

i really dont understand why some people got all defensive with my post. all i did was give a statement to the vendors that know they do this. i did not metion or even hint at a particular vendor.

i have purchased many products from diffrent vendors and never have you seen me bash anybody for late shipment or damaged products, even though it has happend.

for all those that actually understood my post, thank you for including your comments.

for those guys that got defensive for no reason, read the post again, and relax.

GNV motorsports, thanks for getting involved in this thread, you are a good example that vendors should follow.

I have to agree with NYEVO8.....there are a couple of vendors out there that lack a little in the customer service department.....lol.

I bet if you tell them that you want to buy a high dollar item on the subject, they would be on that like a fly on.......we, you know!

there's nothing wrong with this post at all. there was no singling out of anyone at all and it should heed good warning to some vendors big on there britches. some vendors won't respond until someone writes up some negative stuff on their product in which they will be all "sweetness" and willing to fix it once it becomes public just to make it look like they care. if they would just repond to pm's and phone calls to begin with it wouldn't leave the sour tastes in the mouths of customers.

posters got a point so get off his back.

This is the reason my wife and I started our business. Some vendors don't care, some are too busy and others do a great job. This applies to many other fields not just auto parts (though I see it alot more here from the bottom to the top.)
If a vendor doesn't get back to you move on. It's their loss in the end.

Thanks, well ya know we just love being on evom, and posting up in threads, and happened to see this post and we usually get shocked when we see those titles.

Hope to do business with you in the future so you can see first hand how well we handle and run our business.

Steve
