You guys who use names...

I'd guess most of us don't put our names in our sig's or personal info but I'll be some do. I've also seen some posters referring to members using names.

My question: Given the press on Mitsubishi monitoring the web for autox'ers and the like (to deny warranty claims), are you at all worried about them checking us out over here?

I know I am...

To be honest, i have talked to a moderator about this and for the most part the reps that monitor these forums have NO idea who we are. I myself, am not worried and either should you.

I'm not. I didn't have any mods except for a turbo timer. COURTESY MITSUBISHI in LAS VEGAS Sux! And they denied any warranty claims. I even called the stupid District Manager for the West Coast and he turned down my warranty claim. I'm not to fond of Mitsubishi's peeps right now anyways............

Honestly, I was extremely worried about the whole warranty thing when I first started modding. But it's just the price you pay to go fast and look good. As far as mitsu checking these boards, I doubt they do. And even if they did, if I said on here that I raced my car, that doesn't necessarily prove that I actually raced my car. I really doubt they could use this info for anything.

I'm not worried because none of you knows who I am.

I don't track or autoX my car. not worried at all. But I've popped the hood once, that probably voided my warranty anywayz.

I have yet to have a prob with my warranty, but gets a big middle finger from me anyway. I have asked for little things like why is my paint showing small rust spots, they tell me its a rock chip, but the spots are in my trunk jam and rear passenger door jam. Not many rocks get into door jams. What kind of a loser is getting paid to read an internet forum to find cars that can have a warranty voided on. I bet they are too much of a p*ssy to stand up and say who they are.

Right when I pulled the car off the mitsu lot, the warrenty went out the window. I have done alot of work to my car and have never even thought of bringing it to mitsu when there have been problems. If I drive my car hard as hell and something fails, which will eventually happen to some degree or another, I will have to pay. Its the price you pay when modifiying a new car.

This is kind of scary to read if you are a prospective Evo owner.
