man, i am really pissed off and feel like i need to vent... i was driving down 290 chicago.. some dumbass drivers truck...those with muliple tires ..one of the tires flew off and went under my car and busted my oil pan... the guy just f*ckin drove off.. it just costed me $270 to get towed home and don't know how much its going to cost to repair my evo.. oil leaked everywhere and went all over my body panels.. hope that guy gets arrested and have his *** busted in jail

 

that sucks. hope its not too much to fix

 

damn that's going to expensive. you might be able to get insurance to pay...you might want to try them..."that's allstate stand" HAHA

 

I hate big Trucks...!!! I never never never drive behind them , just hate being behind a truck , i pass them every change i get. My friend one time drove behind a truck and had the same thing happen , half of the truck's tire went under his car (Jetta) and damaged his plastic shield underneath.

Sucks that u have to pay for that one.

 

dont take your time passing, and dont stay on the *** of a big truck.. i drive tractor trailer, and guess what, you cant do a thing to us... its not our fault.. but thats why you have insurance in case this happens.. why should he get arrested..

 

You guys should secure your load alot better. I've had plenty of rocks and stones come jumpin my way and hit my car. Even had a piece of glass come at my car and gash my hood. Thankfully it wasn't my evo or while I was on my bike.

 

sorry to break to you bro but he was in the fast lane instead the right lane for trucks and semis.. i just checked my oil level...yep...all the oil has leaked out...car wont start... i have no idea what im going to do with this one... my insurance sucks... just few weeks ago...my car got broken into..they didn't cover ****...i paid for everything and they RAISE my insurance rate! don't ever get farmers insurance... im changing the all-state whenver i get an chance...

 

be careful with all state. they neglected to tell us about a monthly vehicle surcharge of 100 bucks per month on an 01 ///m3. its actually on the statement as a surcharge and i have never heard of this before, so essentially the insurance was 100 bucks more per month than they quoted. thats not right. i cant imagine what they do with an evo.

 

im payin 1200 for six months with my farmers and seems like they don't cover ****

 

eww man 1,200$ and its not full coverage wtf kind of insurance u got lol sounds like dat bootleg man lol, i have statefarm and there my homies lol i totaled like 2 cars and have had "hurricane" damage reports multiple times here in FL and i pay like 1,300 every 6 months lol.

Claim it as comprehensive with your insurance company... seems like an " act of God" type accident to me... your ins. co. will want to say its collision but fight it... I have a $0 deductable on comp. claims you make dont raise your rates... sorry to hear about your evo... I would be so pissed

 

i'd be angry too, but i think i have a super high deductible, so it would be pointless for me to report something like this to insurnace if it happened to me. good luck getting your car started.

 

yeah that really sux. I hate big trucks. ESPECIALLY when they are in the fast lane. OHHHH that pisses me off. Keep your big *** slow truck in the right line. I don't even see a logical reason as to why something so big should be going anymore than 5 over the limit.

 

it's amazing to me that the transportation authorities allow big trucks to use re-treads... still. those things come apart all the time. a friend of mine was crippled by a flying truck tread while riding his motorcycle. this past christmas while driving up the ny for the holidays a truck re-tread did 2,200 worth of damage my bro-in-law's audi... if he had been in his lotus it prolly would have done 22,000. the trucking industry saving $ is more important than anything evidently. you think tony stewart's transporter uses re-treads? not.
