Ok.. Here's a unique topic that nobody has mentioned.. As an EVO Owner, I **JUST** Spotted the first EVO that wasnt my own..

It was silver, on hemstead turnpike on Long Island.. PM me if it was one of you guys..

Anyway, Its kinda a weird experience to see someone else on the road with the same car. At least with this car.. For several weeks, I felt pretty exclusive, and it was fun "In my head" having the only evo around (I knew it wasnt exactly true) but I got the first EVO sold on long Island.. so it was nice to have that bit of ego boost.. (or should I say EVO BOOST )

Anyway.. When I saw the other car in traffic, in my rear view mirror.. I kinda felt like my stomach sank.. Like finding out that your girlfriend was cheating on you.. Don't get me wrong, its nice to see other evo's out there, but I like to be different.. and the stock evo is unlike any other car out there.. Until you see another one just like it.

Thanks for the compliments on the pictures.. The originals are VERY HIGH resolution.. and I was considering doing a few limited prints... anyway, I'm considering putting a few select high-resolution images up.. Also, I am still planning on getting a bunch of EVO owners (and lancer, DSM's too) to do a big "family portrait" of these cars, and individual photos.. I haven't figured out a date yet, or the location other than it will be near the water on Long Island, NY... I'll keep you all posted.

 

any1 ever seen this car on Hempstead trnpk or around the hempstead area?




i was driving south on long beach rd friday about 5:30 in this car with my boy, and we saw the silver evo 8, made a u turn and chased up to follow um. seemed to be a young kid around 18-20,
i tried to get um to pull over but all he did was wave & beep.

 

it is a fake evo 6 i think

Hey guys, any of you NY'ers heard of Fizz in Bayside??? I was gonna go check 'em out. But if it's a no-no let me know

 

Someone in a honda mentioned Fizz once when he saw my car at the Tri-County flea market parking lot.. He said its a great shop, but I kinda blew it off because I am designing my own package, partly aftermarket, partly one-off components of my own design, and I have another shop that I plan on working with that is in Suffolk County.

 

They looks like a real evo 5....Cant hardly tell...except for the fact theres no brembos brakes

 

it 's a mirage with a evo 5 kit. i wasnt saying if its real or not, i no its a mirage, just askin if anyone seen it?

 

I have yet to see an evo 8 on the streets of San Diego. Is there anyone else out there??????
