Dude… you really, really, need to do more research on this. There are soo many people out there that get turbocharged cars and throw a BOV on there for one reason alone... it sounds “cool.” Before you do that… ask yourself… “do I know what a BOV is for?”

I don’t know if your 05 comes with a metal or plastic BOV. If it’s metal… you seriously do not need a new BOV.

…and yes you will need a “tune” (not a “tune-up”) if you install an aftermarket intake. If you plan on keeping the car relatively “stock” there is really no need to spend money on an intake. I would suggest you stick with the stock airbox (and stock everything) until you become more familiar with this particular car.

Sorry if it seems like people are jumping on you. But this is the most frequently asked question and unfortunately it’s the most uneducated one.

My advise: Spend some more time getting familiar with turbocharged cars since this is a new area for you. Becoming more knowledgeable on this subject should be your first mod.

Maybe you should pick up a Sarcasm Detector before your BOV and intake...

Enough of the gamesmanship with new members! We are going to start removing a few of you as you do not represent this website's attitude toward questions. If you don't like the question then do not reply. If you reply intentionally with misinformation you will be warned........... once.

Warrtalon,

Enough of the smart *** replies. One final time; you are not the gatekeeper for EvolutionM and it stops NOW. Most of the BS replies in this thread are members either tyring to impress or emulate you. We want neither. If you cannot change your approach to "dumb" questions then do not reply. Last warning.

Kazzevo8,

What makes you think we read every post? This thread was brought to our attention by a reported post. Thanks.
