IX rear bumpermetal retainer (reinforcement

Getting my rear JDM IX rear bumper soon, got couple Qs before installation. Do I remove the metal retainer bar? Can I trim it down to fit the JDM rear bumper? Is there anyway I can order the JDM metal retainer bar?

i am a little puzzled as to why gruppe-s is offering JDM EVO9 MR head/taillights for sale when there is no EVO9 MR in Japan...

Evos sold in Hong Kong typically sell for twice as much money than it does here. I don't think thier prices on bumpers are going to be very cheap, but i could be wrong.

I thought there was no such thing as a JDM Evo IX rear crash beam; there is no 5 mph rear crash standard in Japan so one was never developed?

The cars are expensive cause they have a 125% tax on them. The parts are not taxed. This is put in to try to curb the amount of cars in HK. Obiviously, people still buy cars. Also the part you guys are talking about is not a crash bar, it is a bumber reinforment support for the bumper.
