While watching an episode of Topgear on the computer I noticed a screenshot of the interior of the Evo VIII they were testing and I noticed the seats were slightly different, then I looked a little closer and the door panels are blue too. I think it looks great, why does the UK version have different door panels and seats? I hate how all the other versions (uk,jdm) get all the cool stuff.

I know the JDM / EDM Seats in the STi are narrower than the USDM ones...they made them wider for us fat Americans hahaha! Could it be the same case with the Evo? That might explain the different seats....not sure about the doors though.

 

Yeah, it really sucks. I wonder though if they envy some of our stuff (if we have anything left to envy).

Yeah the japs actually envy our V8's. They love low riders and muscle cars. Low riders and muscle cars are sooooooo expensive there.

 

I was just thinking that.. Like when we see something right hand drive we freak out.. Maybe if they see a left hand drive evo they go crazy.

 

So seeing a mustang or viper there is like seeing a supra or skyline here? lol..

too bad their isnt a site that can get the japanese interior and what not from the JDM and UKDM evo 8s and 9s. i recall there used to be plenty of vendors selling JDM things for hondas.

 

people always tend to want what they dont or cant have--hence our love for skylines and JDM goodies
