Cheapest way to get one is to buy one from South Coast Mitsubishi. Period. $27,988 + tax and title and you're set. That's over 1k below invoice, AND no destination charge of $595.

Even if you could find one locally at invoice, you're still paying more than 1.5k more!

PRINT OUT & Show them the Add from SC..thats what a LOT of folks have done and MOST dealers have a Meet that price or give you 1K policy..mine did here in Reading PA..after going up the Food chain with this at the Dealership..the GM called and offerred me a IX SSL for $31,500 + Tax, etc. PRINT That add and
PUSH them for it!!

Unfortunitly I'm not quite ready to buy my IX yet(I need to sel my LOW mile '89 TTA first), but I DAM SURE hate Stealerships

$25,999 (Price including destination charge) + $2,275 (Taxes) + $200 or so (Registration) - $5,000 (Trade In) - $2,000 (Down Payment) = around $21,500

O yes!!!! hmmm, I just talked to a guy at the dealership, well the guy I bought my old car from, cool dude. The thing is he doesnt work at mitsubishi or the dealer I purchased my car from anymore. He said he might be able to get me right around msrp, not to much over. Maybe 30-31k? I called up mitsubishi in va beach and they told me they can gimmie a white IX for right at 31, but I am not sure if that was with taxes and fees and etc, which I doubt.

IM SO STUPID i should have just driven to medina or all the way to south coast and bought a 9 but I didn't even look into it. i assumed all i could afford was a used 8 and i got ripped OFF.

8- X, o well, when ya want something ya go and get it! hehe forget the waiting period, shiet, when the evo 8 first came out people were buying them off the lot brand new for around upper 30k, almost 40k! 28k is a little bit to much for a used 03, depending on the mileage too. But yea man the IX isnt to much more, but just gotta find a good dealer around here, like South Coast mitsu 8- ) Like me, when I first got my lancer ralliart I didnt have money to get the evo, but I saved up and got a good downpayment and ended up getting the evo. But I lost money on the trade in for the ralliart to the evo 8- ( So I learned this lesson, I will from now on always wait until I get the best sell value or trade value for my vehicle and try to get the new car payments as low as possible.

I think Andrew LB gets the prize for the best deal , but I vaguely recall that he said in another thread that his price was normally available to employees and family members only. I have never heard of such a deal elsewhere.

I paid $30,779 for my GSR SSL, PLUS tax and registration. That was an awesome price; $500 over SC Mitsubishi's but worth it to me, to get it locally.
