I am not set on any single tuner or prouct like yourself. Yes...the bushur turboback is lite and gives a good amount of power but everyone doesnt have the same taste. I for one, don't like the look of the turboback. I would Compromise Power for Looks any day to a certain extent...you my friend...are not giving advice...you are just here to advertise...

Well he is asking for power not looks. So I gave him advice on how to give the best power for money. You are giving him BS advice that isnt even true. Ask anyone who has been into cars and they will tell you that if you make a car breathe better you WILL gain hp and tq its a given fact! I cant beleive I have to even discuss this with you.

Also if you read vishnus thread properly it said that the mods were "standard exhaust system with a free flow cat." Well of course it didnt put down much more hp thats because it wasnt a tbe. If you dont have a tbe the rest of the exhaust thats not aftermarket acts as a restricter to the rest of the exhaust. Any moron knows this.

And if you want to compromise hp for looks go right on ahead cause you will have one of the slowest evos around. This is why you have no right to be giving people advice with this perception on mods.

Well if you want to do this then this is what you need.

TBE 3in
mbc or ebc
LICP
flash
alky kit
performance clutch
race gas
walbro 255

That will put u around 400whp. If you want an intake the only one I recommend is the ARC.

You'll be fine with a full TBE and flash. Evo IXs make crazy power with just those simple mods. I think you will still need a new pump. The IX has an upgraded pump over the VIII, however, to get the full potential I think you'll need to upgrade your pump as well.

Keep the stock BOV... it works fine and is full recirculation... that's what you want for reliability.

Mail-in flashes are fine. However, when you get a chance and a reputable tuner is in town (you have access to Shiv on the West coast,) have your car dyno-tuned. Each car responds differently even with the same mods and a dynotune is tailor made to your car and its' set-up.

Welcome and have fun with your new 9.

I woudl encourage if you get the mbc to get a boost gauge to see where u are at. If you have the ebc you wont need one. Now the mbc is very easy to use and the ebc is fairly easy as well. You may have to get a tuner to show u a couple times on the ebc but the mbc is basically the turn of a knob so to say.

Also you wont need a walbro 255 unless u use the alky kit.
