Hey guys so i am new to evolutionm so hi all and i have had my IX since their release and i have to say that i love it. I have always loved the EVO since the V's but when i first drove it, it blew me away! Its unbelievable how fast these suckers are and yet i am lookin for more now lol
I have been gandering at these parts for quite some time now and am wondering what people think about them. Sa here they are

- Greddy turbo timer
- AMS FMIC
- AMS lower I/C piping
- Injen air intake with upper intercooler piping
- and maybe the Greddy Type-rs BOV

Well 1st of all Welcome.... And you have a Very Nice Evo IX...... And if your Worryed about Waranty All those mods you named Will ruin it...... So if ur adding all those mods Why not just flash it and have your car runing Safe to its full power......... Another Idea is get a Stock 9 Ecu and when you take it to the Deal Swich them Around thats just MO.

Dude...don't go with any packages anyone tells you to buy. Just buy what you think would be a nice setup for you. Honestly, you wont get much Power from the Injen Intake and Upper IC pipe. I had it on my 8 and it seemed weaker. It probably wasnt tuned properly either. Also according to Vishnu, the IXs don't get any power from any turboback systems until they are flashed...Might be something to do with the ECU. You don't really need an IC just yet unless it was more like a show thing (I dont like the look of the Stock IC Either). The Lower pipe will help in power and spool. Greddy RS if You want the Sound...
^Well hes one lucky guy cause even if you do a oil change and use a filter that doesnt have the release valve that voids your warranty too. Also my friend put gauges in his car and they voided his warranty too. SO I guess it depends on who you go to.

Well, the best way to mod your car is through test and trials. Reserch All the parts you want, Look at pros and cons, search again. Research again, and get statistics and Facts, let me say again FACTS!!. Ask the pros, and again DO RESEARCH. You can save yourself alot of trouble in the long run.

You are giving off wrong advice. The WT package is the best bang for the buck and it has been proven time and time again by many people. Also a tbe WILL give you gains whethor or not you get a flash. I dunno where you come up with that idea. How long have you been into cars?

I am not set on any single tuner or prouct like yourself. Yes...the bushur turboback is lite and gives a good amount of power but everyone doesnt have the same taste. I for one, don't like the look of the turboback. I would Compromise Power for Looks any day to a certain extent...you my friend...are not giving advice...you are just here to advertise...
thnx for all the help so far guys. But i am a litttle confused about this flash deal. Do you have to send in your ecu to them to flash it or will Vishnu send you one to have. I am also wonderin why people reflash them after they have already flashed it once. Or at least that is what i have read.
keep it simple and effective. intake, tbe(3")mbc,fuel pump,DYNO FLASH, you may not even need the pump with theIX, it is upgraded from the 8, flows around 230-235, you would have to discuss that with Al.And keep your stock bov its sufficient. if you want to upgrade go with the forge rs and you,ll be cooking. THe clutchLOL.

so that will end up leaving your car stuck dead for around 2-3 weeks? But again with the whole flash i mean there are so many to choose from but right now i am leaning towards the Vishnu flashi mean you could end up with an added 55 hp thats insane
Well depends on the Tuner. I don't think it will be 2 to 3 weeks though. Probably 3 to 5 days depending on location. I have never done a Mail in and I dont think i ever will...My IX is my daily and I can't live without driving it...haha.
