Yeah I was about to wave but my phone was ringing. Most of the time I wave to another evo they don't look at me (probably wince i'm stock) so I just end up feeling silly. Next time I'll throw you a thumbs up!

I owned a 300hp fwd tsi before my evo and I drive both cars like they should be driven but i'm also very cautious. While most people experienced a ton of unrealiablity on modded dsm's, especially ones that were driven hard I owned one for 3 years and it was driven hard but the car never broke down on me once. The only time I can recall that it gave me trouble was when I was driving back from southern illinoi area and both of my rear wheel bearings went out at the same time. However nothing mechanically went wrong. Now when I play around in my evo, my idea of playing around is much different then someone else's idea. When doing anything i'm not used to I ease into it. Now my intentions were to get the car to do a fast slide while being 100% in control and coming out of the corner perfectly. However since i'm a p^&&y at times and don't wanna hit a curb or spin out I just get the back end to kick out a bit and it end up looking somewhat cool/sloppy. But hey better safe than sorry!

Thanks! Wife took it so I'll pass it along.

Yeah that was up near the top of the Cherohala Skyway...about 5300 feet high. (over a mile) It has been spitting snow down here all day, but nothing is sticking. It was just starting to stick up there, so it was perfect timing.

The rear tires in that shot of mine are literally slicks. Fronts are Ok...they are all Toyo Proxes 4's. (not bad in the snow at all when new) Slick tires make it easier to slip and play as long as you're ready for it!

I live in the Sierra mountains. Love playing in the snow. Only Evo in Truckee as far as I know so when I'm getting sideways around turns people stare and remember. Had one guy tell me he thought it was cool to see my "rally car" doing what it should.

I do it everytime it rains. Which is a lot in Seattle. Once I had the car at about an 80 degree slip angle, full opposite lock, so I lifted lifted off from 100% throttle to about 90% to get a little more weight on the front. I was scared I was going to do a 180 in the middle of rush hour traffic but it worked perfectly, the front wheels pulled the car in to line. It was totally irresponsible but ***kin awesome. I am way too responsible so I need to get out of line once in a while.

We must be crazy in WA! I tried this a little in a circular parking lot after work, after everyone had left. Decided to "drift" around the last corner of the lot on the wet ground, did a 180, and somehow parked it in between the lines right next to another car. Scared the crap outa me, and decided to drive like a grandma the rest of the way home. Moral of the story, don't do this in a populated area, even if it may seem like there are no other cars around. I somehow managed to park next to the only other car in the lot. Figures. But it is fun as hell! Just be careful for god's sake!

I love the rain, its when you can actually feel the AWD working. When the back end breaks loose and your fronts just grab so hard, it's awesome.

did you just call me an ahole? That Post wasn't just for you the slide master. I was saying that stuff happens on accident and can be worse when your not ready.

As for MuslimEvoFreak which is the funny one here, why don't you just save your sarcasm for someone else (preferably not anything breathing)?

Don't tell me how sarcastic i am when i wasn't being sarcastic. I felt like i made a good post for any on who didn't know about lift throttle oversteer, or how the car actually can spin out easily. I really don't care how tough you are, I think your better off eating a DK
