New World Record Set

Hey guys, its Scott, havent been on in a while hope everyone is doing well. Just thought you guys would like to know that i set the world record on Saturday March 25 for the fastest stock turbo/motor EVO on the planet. Thanks to Sean Glazar once again at Extreme, i was able to lay down more power than ever, 364 AWHP and... 406 AWTQ!!! All this is done with very minor mods and some very good tuning. I used a new program from ECUtek and it worked like a charm. A/F is still excellent and i am now running about 30-31 lbs of boost with no fuel cut or any problems what so ever with the stock turbo, cams, camgears, and ecu! If you guys have any questions about anything let me know. Again thank you Sean for everything!

Horsepower numbers doesn't make you the fastest. Good driving does. Fine it hard to believe those numbers were put down with 03 Evo with stock cams.........

Ps. Don't expect stock turbo to last very long at those boost levels. Do a search and look what happened to Buschurs!

You need to take it to the track to make that kinda of claim, especially coming from a shop that claims this:

" WORLD RECORD SHATTERED!!!
September 11, 2005
Sean Glazar has broken yet another world record, this time in the Extreme Motorsports Lancer Evolution VIII - 11.64, 11.66, 11.69 all at 117mph, which solidly makes it the most consistent, and without a doubt the fastest stock turbo'ed Evolution VIII in history. What makes this even more impressive is that the car is a still on the stock turbo, engine, pump gas, and weighs a total of 3510lbs (it not an RS) and was done on two occasions in humid 85+degree Maryland air. So what did Sean do the following day? With the family packed in they headed to the beach in the Evo and not only did the car continue to impress, it achieved over 25mpg doing it."

Big deal, I went faster than that a few weeks after I bought my car, kinda lame all these weak "world record shattered" claims without real world #'s at the track.

Curt,

I already can tell who is fake and who is real by the way they write, please don't think I am talking about you, I very aware of who you are, I am talking about the people that claim world records and that kind of stuff.

Damn!! Do you have a record of that world record run? I didnt know it was possible to go that fast without jdm bumpers.

Seriously, soon everyone will have a record if people keep making them up.

stock turbo doesn't boost well above 24psi, and there's no way you used pump gas (93oct.)
