HKS Carbon-Ti

I have an Evo 9 GSR, I am going to start modding it. I have about 4,500 miles on it. I want to put the HKS Carbon-Ti Exhaust on it. The locale performance store will sell it to me for $599, that's not including install if I want them to do it. What kind of gains will I be looking at? I've searched the forum and haven't really ran into any dynosheets of the Evo 9 with this exhaust.

Just a cat-back. That would be one hell of a bargain for a turbo-back of that label, wouldn't it?

obviously the car had work done to it but all the exhausts were tested on the same car so you get some idea of the gains. I think I've decided on the Injen SES.

599? thats a sick price...get it, i havent seen it for less than 700 anywhere

i put mine on a few weeks ago, as far as gains, i feel a bit quicker spool...not sure about numbers

it isnt a true 3inch, so keep that in mind

I think it's actually the titanium for $599, my mistake. This will be my first mod, also. Do you think this is a good starting area, or should I look into something else, first?

hahah yeah, $599 would be sick. Any way, i would say that there be a difference of 5-11 hp alone, but once you get the car tuned, thats when u will get even more hp. A tune alone would yield about 20-30, include turbo back, and boost controller, you will have an evo 9 with some decent power for such simple mods. just my 2c

I had an 8 GSR as well. I had a huge problem with fuel cuts with my high-performance dual-stage turbo-xs boost controller. So I won't do anything to the boost until my ECU is flashed, don't want to get kicked in the *** again.
