so i went to the dealer to day and maybe trade in my 04 for a 9 MR GG....there going to pay off my car and then give me the MR for 31000 with payments at $644.....what do you guys think i should do...i told them i will call them tomorrow with my decision...my payments as of now are 553..is it worth it?...also others that traded in there 03-05 evo for a new 9 or mr...how much did insurance change??....did it cost a lot more??..thanx for the help

 

Insurance shouldn't change, but if your payments are $644, then I don't think you're paying 31k for the MR. You didn't say how long the loan was, but $644/mo is $38,640, which is more than the total I paid for my 05 MR with interest - and I paid full MSRP for my MR (35k).

I would look VERY CLOSELY at the numbers...

644/month over 6yr/72mos is $46,382. At 6.9% interest rate, that means you're paying $38k for the MR, not $31k.
