Of course, the cars are the same.

Click on Search, then click on Advanced Search. There's no reason for it not to work.

That's what it says... I am thinking of ordering from streetconcept.com or 500whp.com... in 500whp.com they only have hoods and trunks for evo 8.. I don't know if they're gonna fit... tried to call them.. no answer...

by the way, that stage 1 kit you get for $1270? I'm kindah interested but I'm thinking about my warranty though? I bought the service contract for my car (EVO IX)...

You shouldn't have to buy any service contract - it comes with a warranty that is included in the purchase price. If you're really worried about your warranty, then you shouldn't do any mods. If you don't have any mods, then you have absolutely no reason to spend $1200 on CF parts that only save about 15 combined lbs. In fact, the wet CF hoods weigh more than the stock aluminum hood, so keep that in mind.

That saddens me. Just remember before you buy that expensive stuff that looking fast and not being fast is very embarrassing.

But Honda Civics have built an entire lifestyle around that theory!

hehe.. I don't buy these to make my car looks fast.. but to look a lil' bit different (not in ricey way).. it saddens me too coz why did I even buy the service contract and now I couldn't take advantage the full potential power of my evo IX.. that's why I kindah regret it too... can I still cancel my service contract?

I don't know what you mean by service contract, but you can usually sell back unused aftermarket warranties.

it just like an extended warranty... somebody told me I can cancel it though... and at the same time I'm worried too.. I'm a first time buyer.. buying an evo which is totally different car from my civic ( which I didn't care whatever happens to it LOL).. but I can always install something.. and take it off when I have to...

so I will buy the carbon fiber hood and trunk for EVO VIII without having any problems in fitment with my EVO IX?

The evo IX is a great looking ride off the showroom floor, I say save the money and used it later in life on your ride, not a big fan of carbon fiber things but for the amount of money you spend on cf stuffs, you can buy jdm lights or a lip. I don't know, whatever floats your boat. good luck with it.

I was actually thinking of that jdm lights but I think it's a lil bit too much for lights... I'm feelin' the hood and trunk more hehe.. thanks for the advise though.. you're right.. this will be it and I will stop and save up money for later use....

I guess they're the same fitment... nobody really answered my original question haha.. thanks alot Warrtalon... damn! what's wrong with my "search" button

That error is most likely due to the fact that you put double quotes in the search. It does that for me sometimes too if I use one of these ". Try typing hood + fit + IX.

Sorry if this has already been answered.
