To you people with synchro problems. Before the problem got bad, did you hear a weird high-pitched whining when you downshifted? Lately I've been hearing this sound off and on when I downshift from 3rd to 2nd and 2nd to 1st (usually while cornering). It sounds like the synchro is whining as it catches up to speed. It doesn't happen too often, so I'm just hoping it isn't the sign of something worse to come.

Yeah, actually now that I think of it... I should have said 4th to 3rd and 3rd to 2nd. The only time I go from 2nd to 1st while moving... is to pull into my driveway.

i thought they were going to cost an arm and a leg, just like all the other EVO parts...

Im going to do it my self (when i put in my ATS clutch setup), maybe document it for the people w/o warrenty...

Tranny's are easy to work with so im not worried about that...
