Finally!!!

So today I took my car to the dealership and the district rep. drove it and now I am getting my transmission replaced under warranty. It took them about 1.5 months to finally get the rep. down here and take a look at my car! I will be dropping the car off Monday and then a grin from there on.

how old are you? most younger people i dont think they take seriously... they just think we beat the car so it shouldnt be replaced under warranty.

I am 16 and I was getting 3rd gear and 5th gear grinds so one day I took it in and one of the service mangers drove it and said nothing was wrong. So i ignored the problem for a couple more days and I took my evo back and asked them if they can have a technician sit with me and I will replicate the problem. I did and they called the district rep. He looked at it today and said that he knew what I was talking about; he told me that they will need the car and they ordered a new trans for me.

I dont know about you but i hate it when people say how old are you. Give the guy a break, cause I know you were probably thinking he was an idiot for screwing his trans.

Good job man, did you have any modifications at all? Good to see some dealers helping out the community.

I've had good service at max madsen in Lisle. Shame that the dealership I bought the car at has been less help.

synchros themselves aren't expensive, it's the labor involved that costs you a ton.

I am getting my car fixed at Biggers Mitsubishi in Downtown Elgin, Illinois. They are amazing and always have been great with their service. I remember when I learned on the car and blew my clutch; they installed a new stock clutch including labor for only $950. They gave me a big discount!

Alright everyone, I just got my car back yesterday and man does it feel great!!! I am really happy now since I don't have those nasty grinds and the dealership service was fast and great. I love the guys at Biggers Mitsu. Now it is time to put in my Greddy Turbo Timer.
