I think you meant...persuasion.

Anyways, if you have speeding tickets, street racing, and various other things on your record "DON'T BUY AN EVO". There is no way in hell you will be able to fight the need to go fast.

This is not a car that you can jump in and "just" do the speed limit. This car was built to SING and is geared more towards a spirited driver.

...but only if you are a spirited driver with a clean driving record.

dont get the evo if you cant fight the urge to speed which causes accidents therefore making most of our insurance rate go up......

I agree with most people on here. Get the Evo...but just know that with the Evo comes a greater responsability. THis car goes fast and you need to make sure that you can handle it, and drive it. You also have to be okay with driving the speed limit a lot of the times....just cause cops know what our cars look like and they know that they go real fast.

So get the Evo, have fun, enjoy it responsabley, but be safe.

Thats no excuse not to go out there and find an Evo d@mnit ! I am happy your nuts dropped (that was the first step), get out there and find one (or have one on hold at a dealer for $100) and when that bad boy comes in take the day off and go and spend time with your other lady ......Lucky lady Evo. You will smile and giggle like two b*tches in a sewing circle. Take a deep breath, take a step into the deal..... don't look back. You'll be happy, trust me!!!!!

If you don't have enough responsibility to keep out of trouble with a regular lancer...I would be very apprehensive about getting a fast car. Going from a lancer oz to a Evo is actually a pretty big jump up in performance. If you do get one, try to drive responsibily, or you will soon no longer be able to afford to drive one (too many points).

If you got a street racing ticket in a lancer you'll probably kill kittens and club baby seals in an evo...

Get the Evo. Behave yourself on the road (it's still a kick-*** car to drive within the parameters of the law). Buy your girlfriend some flowers. If she leaves you, she didn't really love you. Go find yourself an Evo-loving chick. Problem solved.

I would say don't get the car until your record cleans up. Insurance will just kill you since you not only have speeding tickets but a racing ticket as well. Listen to the woman, sadly enough they tend to know what is best even if you don't.

If I were you i'd do what the smart ones are saying and wait until your record cleans up. No offense man but did you get a street racing ticket in your lancer? If you did that's pretty funny, but on a more serious note that's proof enough that you can't handle 100+ more horsepower. Save your license, life, relationship, driving record, and others on the road by keeping the slow lancer b/c that's already to much power for you.

Have a blast and over extend yourself and buy an EVO! I have had one for a few years and can't complain. Insurance is high and payments are high . the smile on your face is worrh it.
