combination meter / dash instrument cluster pinout ???

I'm planning on building my own instrument panel to replace the OEM instument cluster. I would like to use the same connections as the OEM cluster.

Does anyone know where I can find a pinout for the connectors?

I believe I'm looking for the pinout for c-01 and c-02

Thanks

Wow you are in for a party. You will need to read all of the circuit diagrams. There is one for combo meter but it does not pin out all of the connections.

Also there is a battery light, that one starts the alternator. Learned that one the hard way.

Yeah I read somewhere that if the gauge cluster isn't in you get no charge from the alternator. I'm going Haltech so I'm not sure that still applies, I hope not. What I need the pin out for is I'm going to run an AIM dash, but I don't think I'll be able to read what mode the ACD is in. I think I've tracked it down to 10,14,15 in the C-01.

For anything ACD use the ACD pinout. There are a few ACD Mode output pins. You can use those to drive your own LED display somewhere. Should not be that hard to build a quick board with 3 LEDs on it. Just get some standard LED's and some resistors, I think you need 120ohm or 500ohm I dont remember 100% it is based on the LED rating.

I am testing a diode to replace the LED for the battery light. I just wired everything up last night so I will post results once I have tested it. But I removed everything from my gauge cluster. So it is more or less a dummy cluster.

But for the pinout print all the circuit diagrams, and you can trace everything back from there. Let me know if you have any questions, I just finished my full wire harness strip, and moved my ECU to the engine compartment.

So are you thinking to use C-136 for the LED's?

Even if I can't use the diode it would be nice for others to have some documentation, as it's elusive.

I have also removed everything from the cluster. It was a spare JDM version I had sitting around.
