Sounds like a scam, but hell, if you dont have to pay anything before you see the car, hit it up. Let us know what happens.

IT IS A SCAM

Ask them to send you a pic of a loaf of bread and todays newspapers on top of the car, showing the car.

I saw a 69 mustang with full body kit, crate motor, custom paint and stereo for 10K. Guess what, fraud.

So if I can see the car and drive it first to know it's legit, then it seems like a steal.

You just want to be scammed don't you

If nothing else, I can buy this, sell my car, part some of this out, sell it, and buy a new or close to new MR.
SCAM.

There is no question in my mind that this is a scam. If purchase that car you WILL lose your money. How can you not tell this is a complete scam? Its so obvious these days, a 4 year old could figure it out.

No, believe me, I'm more than aware that it could be a scam. But if payment is through an escrow company, how can I lose money? All I'd have to do would be to tell the escrow that I didn't get the car, and I get my money back.

Yep, I've seen that on ebay too. And, I *think* multiple users were putting up their evo for sale and using these same pictures. Everything seems too shady. I wouldn't go near that deal if I were you.

I think the funniest part about all this is the comments like: "Yeah, even if it is a scam, as long as my money is safe" or something to that extent.

People just have an underlying NEED to believe - even if they think it's not true - and THAT my friends is why things like this work so well for scammers.

Deep down, there are people that would much rather chase the dream then face the reality of it not being true.

BTW - After I listed my car for sale - Someone D/Led the pics then started posting it for sale everywhere. Craigs List, eBay, etc, etc. for $8,000-$10,000
