Well after only haveing my car for 3 days this month i got it back. Here's what happen.

Well after i got a second head and a upgraded piston and rod setup im back up and running. The car was ready last week but i told the shop to keep it for the week to tune the car a lil better and work on a few settings. So i got in after i look under the hood to make sure everything that i asked to get put on was on the car. I drove it out on the street and all i can say right now is WOW it feels like a beast i have to brake it in for another 800 miles but i just give it a lil gas and WOW the car is just crazy with the new setup. Im happy with the work. Now i cant wait untill mid this month to get it on the dyno and get some real numbers out the car.

That's not detonation, that looks like something broke off and was bouncing around in there. Was it a piece of Spark Plug?

IIRC, it was a piece of the piston in the 1st picture - I think his thread was titled something like "common evo problem" ...Originally Posted by mdsevo06

Your right, didn't notice the broken piston. I don't think that's a common problem, that looks like a "Lean Condition" or valves slapping the piston.

I feel you on missing the Evo. After I spun a bearing I didn't have my car for 3 months waiting for the build to be completed.
I was forced to drive my EG hatch with a whopping 95hp the whole time It's nice to be able to pass cars again
