Hi guys I was reading and searching around late last night and I came across this EVO IX review from Road&Track and the guy say:


"The forward surge is immediate and almost violent as all four tires grab hold of the tarmac".

He uses the word violent. Now I have never driven an EVO, let alone a IX, here in OKC these dealers have nothing for me to test drive so I am relaying on you guys, the owners. If the word is violent while on boost then things look pretty exciting. Got any input?

It's violent on any Evo in 1st if you know how to launch.

From 0-30 the Evo and STI are about as fast or faster than many supercars. So yeah, if the launch is done properly they can really rocket off the line.

I knew that guy was blowing a little smoke but then I read this owners review on Yahoo cars and he said he was on his way to buy a Cayman with 70k in his hand and decided to stop at the Mitsubishi dealer. He test drove the Evo IX and he said he almost fainted. He took the cash and bought 2. One for him and one for his son. I really cannot wait any longer on this deal. Do I have to go to South Coast or they ship? I

i wouldnt say violent, more like explosive once the boost comes on

What about the paperwork? fax and phone?

 

Just do it - don't ask questions.

 

I would suggest you find someone aroudn town with a well broken in Evo to let you sit in for the launch
I only charge $20 per lanch. LOL
