Sold the R32

Hay guys I know alot of you proly don't care but, I finally sold my R32 after 2 months . I am ready for the 9. I am wanting a white 9 w/ssl. Going to the dealership tommarrow to see if they can locate one. Has anyone seen any at there local dealers. In columbus all we have are MR's, which are ok, and I may end up with one of them, I just don't like the 6 speed and those cheesy little gauges they come with.
So has anyone seen a white 9 w/ssl at there dealers, and also anyone got some pics of those leather seats, cause I have NEVER seen leather in the EVo..... Sorry.

BTW i wouldnt waist the money in gettin the leather in evos the quality is no way near the R32 seats... another question who built your motor as far as machinery and all that good stuff with the 3.0L or did you just get one from eurospec?

Don't get the SSL pkg. for just the leather. It's not the last word in quality cowhide. And unless you really need the moonroof and slightly better stereo, I'd save your money and get the standard pkg. Besides, the 9 seats are partial leather and alcantara.

like others said if leather's the only thing u want out of the ssl package, don't get it. the sunroof adds weight on the worst part of the car, and it adds significant amount of body roll from what other ssl owners said.

the little leather still won't make the interior half as luxurious as ur r32. i think u should just get the standard IX and use the extra cash to make the car a performance beast

the r32's a very nice car. what made you get rid of it in 2 months? not enough performance for u?

I've got the SSL package as well. For the price difference, you could get the whole car redone in quality leather and get the HID kit. I honestly bought mine with the SSL for the leather because I occassionaly take clients out in it and it does look better than the blue garbage in the 03-05's...But the new non SSL interiors have much better looking seats, and the leather in the SSL is not good at all. Compared to my Acura's leather, its really a joke how bad quality it is (look wise).

I love my ssl package. I can not tell a difference in body roll at all so i don't know what other are talking about. Personally I do like the basic evo 9 seats but the black and blue cloth recaro's on the 03-05 evo's look like $hit. But having hid's, a sunroof, leather seats, and a badass infiniti sound system is nice. I think it just makes the interior look much more plush and quality becase it also adds the leather arm pads on the door which make a great accent.

The R was stock, I wanted to keep it that way. It was such a rare car I did not want to mess with it.
The engine in my GTi was bored at a local shop, and I assembled it with Eip/Ross custom pistons and Cunningham rods. Its uses a stock 3 layer metal headgasket, mildly porter head with a radius valve grind, and all arp faserns.
Like I said before I don't much care for the MR, my reason for wanting the ssl package is for the HID's and the sound package.
As far as liking the R32 it was really good car for me however I only put 9k on it in 2 years, and performace mods cost ALOT of $.
Hay Tarmac8 thaxs for those pictures, they look to be really nice.
And thaxs to everyone that posted, its time to move on to better........ I mean the BEST thing......... the Evolution

You will always be loved
