I need a mod for under $500

Here is the deal. Al is supposed to be coming to Atlanta in May.

I currently have: Buschur intake, Forge UNOS, ebay TBE and base flash.

I want to get something done for around $500 (installed for free by myself) so I can have to car re-flashed in May with the new mods. I will be adding a fuel pump regardless.

I was considering porting and coating the stock manifold and outlet and maybe getting a 10.5 hotside. Maybe even getting an alky/meth kit.

I am trying to get another 30whp out of her. Should I hurry up and get something or wait and maybe get a bigger turbo or something?

I know this is kinda broad, but I am just looking for some ideas. Thanks

Whats your end goal for your car, what are you looking to accomplish now, what do you use your car for?

i'd say a walbro fuel pump, boost controler set to 20 or so, and a reflash

You just named waht I have minus the fuel pump that I already said I am going to get.

My end goal is probably mid to high 300's.

I would get cams, but I can't(don't want to) install myself and that is about $300 in labor.

You are right. I think I am just going to save and do cams. Is the manifold, housing and outlet really worth the money and time for the gains? Should I just get a cheap set off of ebay (manifold and outlet combo)?

Yeah dont worry you will find it that alot of people dont read here.

I would go with what martinez said and wait till you really know what you want then make the decision.

port the exhaust manifold- $75
10.5T housing- $250
tubular O2 housing- $90
Horsepower gains- 30 whp

moreover, i dont think you will need a reflash for those mods.

I would get a decent blow off valve. I bought my cams and had them installed for under $500.

I'd get the Buschur o2 housing, jet coated, and the exhaust manifold ported and jet coated by Buschur. That should be close to the $ you want to spend. If you want to do it right, also get the 10.5 hotside ported and coated, too.

I say save up and get cams. There's no other mods in between a full turbo upgrade that will give you any appreciable gain over what you already have.
