I saw this in Motortrend last night, and wasn't too happy to see the Evo-like appearance of the Ralliart Lancer for next year. Sort of like the '99-'01 Cobra guys who now have every '03 V6 Mustang with the same hood and look... or every single single Camaro and Firebird where you can't tell if its a male or female without lifting the tail to count exhaust pipes. Annoying.

yeah im def. not a fan of the RalliArts looks. Looks very similar to the pontic style, especially with those ford focus looking headlights RalliArt is NG.

 

hondestly i think it looks better then the current lancer... not a big fan of the current body style ( no flames please ). i think i read somewhere that is puting the same front end on all of their vehicles, or at least a similar look. I didn't care for it at first but pictures never do a car justice.

 

I'm curious about those seats??!!!!

 

RTW is right .. just look at the new outlander and endeavor(very nice suvs). they also restyled the galant w/ a new nose also. i'm waiting to see what will happen to the eclipse.

Good find, but I'm not a fan at all I would stay with current Lancer style.

 

OMG - my first thought was "it's the pontiac impala..."

I don't even like the nose on the Evo, but I've still ordered one; I'm not going to be the guy seeing it in my mirror.

They're not trying to make the Lancer look like the Evo. They're trying to make all their cars look the same. The original cars to have these grilles in the US were the Galants and Diamantes. Don't lose sight of the big picture. Mitsubishi wants conformity within their ranks.
