Well let me start off by saying i've been reading around on these forums since the EVO first came out. I almost bought one in 03, but the markup was too much for me so I though I would wait it out. I just sold my highly moded 94 Stealth TT. I've always loved the evo, so I though maybe now I will buy one.

What do I need to look out for when looking for an 03? My friend bought one the first year and i remember a few things kept breaking on him, but he drove it really hard all the time. THis is going to be my daily driver. I plan on putting basic mods onto it, nothing crazy. So if anyone has any advice about buying an 03, please let me know.

Do a search, 03 problems or something like that. There is a thread from the last few days that discusses problems with early EVOs.

 

Yeah, really, we just had a crazy kid started 45 threads in preparation for getting an 03 Evo, so this has all been covered in gruesome detail as recently as this week (not to mention 1000 times before this week).
