I didn't install them, but AMS told me these are the important ones. I also have a boost gauge.

You won't NEED any others. It all depends on what you want. Most important in order (after boost, of course):

- Oil pressure
- Oil Temp
- AFR (wideband only)

You don't need any of those, though, for your basic mods. Btw, where are you getting your EcuTek tune?

I noticed his location and know the relevance of PDT's location, but I wanted to make sure.

turbotrix!~ i heard too many bad things about PDT, and it isn't worth the risk.

so then the packages that most of the vendors sell here, boost, egt, and water temp. is uselsss? because they charge more for other ones anyway -.-

I don't know of the packages you're mentioning, but I wouldn't say they are useless. A lot of people still think they need an EGT gauge, but the others are far more important. Water temp is good, but you already have a water temp gauge like just about every other car.

Funny comment on your flash tuner of choice. You also don't have to get an EcuTek tune for your IX...you can pay less for a Techtom, but TT will certainly give you a good tune.

TechTom and EcuTek are the two types of software that flashers use on the Evo. EcuTek requires a license, which is a minimum of $650 to acquire, then the tuner uses the EcuTek software to tune you. TechTom is what Dynoflash uses, and he is the only one using it on IXs currently. It costs far less, because there is no license to purchase.

No, because it's not needed, especially if you don't have a self-tuning device, but even then it's not important like the others.
