Alright. Thanks!

Cheaper, easier to use, less chance of failure.

21-22psi MAX as long as you're on 93oct and preferably with a tune. That's all you need on your IX to have 330-340whp, which is sickening to us VIII owners.

Don't need to stop at 20psi...that's his stock boost (peak).

Stock spikes to 19psi and settles at 17psi roughly according to my boost gauge

I'm getting my MBC put in this weekend (yes, boost gauge as well) I just have a K&N and Vishnu TBE...no reflash yet.

I'm glad I saw this thread, guess I'll shoot for 21'ish. Does the reflash get rid of the tapering?

No, I wouldn't do that with only an MBC and still the stock exhaust. Keep it where you have it now, imo.

Good thread and good advice.

I have a few question pertaining to this topic.

With this mod list:

TBE, including cat delete or test pipe, what ever you want to call it.
o2 housing,
HKS Race Suction Intake Kit,
Hallman pro MBC
255lph fuel pump,
boost gauge,
and mail in flash

What could I set my boost at on 93?
What could I set my boost at on race gas?
And what would be my estimated awhp?
By the way I have an 05 Evo 8

Thanks...

Nice sneak attack, Evo#1. This info is all over the site.

93 - 21-22psi
Race gas - depends on the octane, but pretty much any boost you want
WHP - look in my sig
