I drive an 03 evolution and So im driving to work this morning and the radio station just starts changeing up and down. But only one up and/ or down. I had the station set at 96.5 and it would either go to 96.7 and stay or go back to 96.5 or it would go to 96.3 and stay or jump back to 96.5. It would never go any further. Has this happen to anyone?

That's a common problem, you have a poltergeist. Just put a small baggie of black salt at each corner of your car, and also take off your door panels so you can draw a pentagram on each door on the inside, without anyone seeing it.











And if that doesn't work, I say take it to the dealer and have them replace the stereo. Or just get a better aftermarket one.

 

My factory radio would occasionally make these really cool duhduhdup duhduhdup noises. I realized that it happened at the same couple of places every time and it was near a cell phone tower.

But yours is probably possessed. Try throwing holy water on it and hang some roserie beads from the mirror. If that doesn't fix it we are going to need a live chicken and some rum.

 

That's crazy because mine started doing the exact same thing starting monday. I have no clue what it is though.

Dude, just try to have the dealer replace it. It's not like this is a problem that can be fixed by pressing a button. If they don't replace it I'm sure you can get a new one for pretty cheap. It's not like these stereos are high end or anything, it's not surprising that it is going all wonky on ya. At the very least I would say just try to live with it if you don't want to fork out the extra money to get a new one.
