anywhere on the frame rails up front and on the lower control arms on the rear is how i do it. Right where they connect to the chassis
Lift up one side at a time on the front and then by the rear diff on the back

Since the thin rolled rails on the stock jack points are soft and can bend.... i took a ice hockey puck and trimmed a groove in the middle and mounted that on my floor jack. Cost= $3.99. Worked perfectly.
Or you can spend $23.99 for this: http://69.20.111.53/index.asp?PageAc...dID=1792&MMP=1

boy i got a big dent on my passenger side floor board. I jacked the car up and then released it forgetting the jack stand was there. Bump now I got a hump back Evo. when people ask about it I tell them its for better aerodynamics
I got frustrated with the lack of easy accessability to the front jack point so I decided to modify the center panel that you normally have to remove like 15 screws to allow you to lift the front end from the center. Now i just gotta remove two screws and the panel i created flips open and the jack can go right in, lifting the front end perfectly.
