This happened with mine aswell, I think its just from movement. Perhaps sweating has caused it to come apart aswell? I use to drive to the beach alot with my shirt off just driving so I think that also caused some wear.

I have 23K and the same problem. Even the passenger seat is starting to do it a little. It seems like it may be "normal" wear, but it pisses me off considering they are Recaros. I'm gonna take it to Mitsu and show them the seats and my calipers and just say wtf?!!

I just noticed it was pulling of wen I went to put a TT in yesterday. The car has 24K on it and it kind of pisses me off too. Let us know what happens if you go to Mitsu.

I've already asked, they basically tell you there is nothing they can do.

On my 05 the plastic backing on the drivers-side seat cracker and broke off. That was pretty much my fault though, I tried to get in the car with the seat all the way up. I was cleaning the interior and forgot to put the seat back after is was done plus I was in a hurry. Things just happen sometimes.

the dealer is suppose to fix this. if you are still in warr. they have to fix it. Keep bringing it back till they do and ask for the DM if they refuse. There were quite a few people with 03's that happened to and they fixed it

Life's not fair. If a problem with a car seat is bothersome then you've got a rough road ahead. Hahaha.

I have not had the same problem, but I do have an issue with the side of the drivers seat at the bottom always coming untucked. There are two or three plastic pieces sewn to it and they go under the metal on the side of the seat. When you get in and out of the car, the seat squishes and makes it come out. I just keep rolling it back in there, but it is annoying. Maybe it needs some glue....
