I've also had the pleasure to drive some pretty awesome sports cars, and my Evo VIII still takes the cake on steering. The only car I've driven that has similar steering is my grandfathers Ferrari 348TS (no power steering).

Good to know there are people that do feel the same way as I about my car

Awsome write up, I now will keep my eye out for what the EVO X will have as features and everything else that makes a car more "friendly".

One of the main reasons I decided to pull the trigger and order my Evo IX MR was because I think the next generations of both the Evo and the STI are going to be a little bit more toned down than the current ones. Good to know there are others out there who feel the same as I do!

Now the only bad part is the waiting... Sent the money to Mark at South Coast yesterday, and should hopefully have the shipping company pick it up the beginning of next week!

Well put.

Every new car that comes out has been getting bloated, more luxurious and overall big and heavy. Luxury and comfort is a good thing but not the reason I bought an Evo.

Great post, but I wouldn't say the evo ix is last true evo just yet....
