I have not seen it. Are they stock? Are they the JDM EVOs in the vidios? Doesn't the JDM EVOs rev to 8000 RPM? But I didn't think that the JDMs were up to 8 yet. This is confusing though. I thought the JDM models were one behind in terms of numbering.

JDM 7 = USDM 8 ?

to answer your question....try it in your car.... it won't shut off until about 7900rpm...... I plan to drag race my car soon, and will experiement in shifting closer to the shut off vs the redline.... we'll see.... it may drop way off in power by then, but.???

If you video is a DVD the reason you can't read it is Japan has different coding for DVD's. Make sure you get VHS next time.

Your absolutly right MEGABUSA 7900rpms.

......................................

I power shifted when the car dies down around 6500-6700 i only seen it rev to 7000 rpms? Usually it free revs to redline when i do that but i wonder if there is a cutoff while no load or if i could really shift that fast

What does that mean? I thought the max rpms for our 4G63 is 7 grand. I guess the evo's version does close to 8000 rpm and we just need some ecu tuning to take advantage of our hi performance engine.
