Seibon CF hoods.. where are they made from?
Trending Topics
I was at a CF shop the other day and they had some CF hoods on display...quite amazed at the work they do...looked pretty dam good. My friend has a authentic Kansai CF hood and it did have a bit of gap so I guess not everything made in japan is perfect... I wouldnt be surprised if they came from Taiwan. lol. They tell me almost all their parts are exported...mostly to the US. Thats why I asked if Seibon is made in the USA. Going there tomorrow again so im gonna see which companies they sell them to...might just pick up a CF hood myself or have them make me one. Really cool people there... im sure they wont mind telling me which companys in the US order from them

^exactly. Most companies use foreigh countries for the phone assistance because anyone who has knows anything about business knows they do that to save money cause other countries work for less money than we do here. That's why you can't understand most of the people you talk to when you call certain credit card companies and what not! Good luck getting any Carbon Fiber anything from anyone recently unless they had it in stock already. SEIBON was having to wait on supplies cause the military has been confiscating all Carbon Fiber resources forplanes and equipment and what not! That is why I'm still waiting on my hood for like 2 months. No biggie since it's the military. I just can't get my car inspected cause of the broken hood latch. However, if you want to know where they are made, just go to the website and email them or something or call and ask. That would be the easiest way.
Get over it and stay on topic, it's my car, that is what I chose to do, i make the car payments, I spent My money, and who cares what you think! If you want to talk about how you don't like it, go to the thread from like 2 years ago and just let it go man! There are too many EVO owners on here that they everything should be EVO this and EVO that only for the EVO. I'm happy for you that you can afford one dude. I'm just fine having only to pay less than $300 for the car payment and insurance combined. Anyway, Here is spart of the email I got from Michael Lee @ SEIBON:
