to those that have sunroofs

k, I have a chance to get a silver with a sunroof in 4 weeks or without a sunroof sometime... in a while.

anyway, to those that have sunroofs, are they nice & quiet? I have never owned a car with a sunroof, and I am not opposed to it, but only if it doesn't leak air as I know some do.

thanks in advance, and yes, I did search and there is some info about sunroofs, but not in a direct format like this.

Mine's quiet so far, but that's not saying anything since I've only got 900 mi on it. This is my second car with a sunroof, my last being my '99 Prelude which I had over 4 years and no problems. I'm sure eventually some minor noises will develop.

I used to have a 97 Accord V6 with a moonroof, up until it was killed last year... Anyway, no problems or noise whatsoever. To me, a sunroof should have no more problems or noise than an automatic window. I say go for it. It will make Sunday cruising that much better, and a nice romantic touch when you're in the back seat parked at Lover's Lane.

You won't have noise/wind/leaking problems with a factory sunroof. Aftermarket sunroofs, maybe, just because aftermarket sunroofs tend to be hack jobs.

The "feel" of the sunroof is really nice and tight so far, compare to the one in my old Talon where the build quality felt cheap and clumsy since day one.

I love the sunroof. If I were in your shoes I'd get it.

I think the sunroof on my old 2.5RS might have creaked a little bit. But that's probably something that can be prevented with a little TLC on the seals around the roof. Otherwise it was alright.

The sunroof on my Evo has had no problems, it's great. I like that you can pop it up to get a little airflow or slide it back to roll in the sun. It also has little vents in the slide cover, which I think are so you can pop the sunroof up and get airflow without having to pull the slide cover back.

Sunroof is great just remember one thing DO NOT open it during the winter time or when the temperatures get close to 32 deg. F. because that is the time when the problems with the sunroofs start, it may leak or get noisy. Otherwise it's a great thing. Enjoy

I love my sunroof No problems at all. Go for it you will wish you did if you dont. And you wont notice any difference in performance like some people have stated.

I'm not sure what i want to do... B/c i was thinkin no sunroof just because it saves weight and the roof is stronger.. BUT BUT... my family member has a 2000 Honda Accord and in the summer..when your just crusing... it feels soo good and.. so i will probbaly take the sunroof..especially if this is your daily driver.. so i probb will get one..

This is my second car with a sunroof. I love it!

I had all kinds of noises today. The turbo sounds even better with the sunroof open
