cluth installation???
I'm about to change the cluth.
I have evo8 rs with acd.
there is one shop that I alway go to and do the cluth job because it's cheap.
but all of my car before it's just 2 wheel drive. and they do a great job.
but here the thing, on my evo do I need to find the spacialize?
or any shop can do it?
thx you for information.

definitely take it to someone who at least has done the job once before. You don't want to be the guinea pig for this shop. Its not your typical clutch replacement job. Get a price quote from your local Mitsubishi dealer. Find a shop in town that works on AWD cars, maybe you'll find someone that specializes in DSMs... get a quote from them too. Good luck with it. Or, if you're feeling up to it, check out the how-to on www.evomoto.com and tackle the job yourself.

I would make sure the shop that you take your car to know hows to change a clutch in a car with ACD. I believe that when they change the clutch if they will have to bleed the ACD which from what Ive read requires the use of the MUT-III tool. Someone posted a way to do it without that tool but Im 100% if it is a correct way to do it.
i just changed to an acd in my IX.... i tried to let my friend do it at his shop for cheap....and he couldnt ever get the tranny out.. everything was dsconnected but the tranny wouldnt clear the cross-member.... let someone do it that has done one before...TRUST ME......this guy knows his **** and i had to do it my damn self....it took two weeks for him to get everything apart...and me about 2 hours to get it out and change it.....TRUST ME dont let somebody that has never done it do it.
