Pulling fuses as anti-theft?
I need to leave my Evo in a semi-public place for a bit and was wondering which fuses, if any, I could pull to keep the car from starting? I use this trick on my RX7, pulling a fuel pump fuse and I'd like to do something similar so the only way anyone is taking my car anywhere in on the back of a flatbed truck! Help greatly appreciated.
I don't know about pulling fuses, but I have always been of the mind that I would rather someone steal my car and I never see it again then to try to steal it and mess a bunch of stuff up in the process. Atleast if it's stolen I can just get another one with the insurance money.
I blew a fuse once and my car wouldn't start at all, no power, nothing. Problem is I don't remember what fuse that was. Also I didn't really know at the time either. I either looked in the owners manual, or a fuse diagram located inside the fuse box. Check it out and you should be able to figure something out. They usually make the diagrams pretty dummyproof.

I know there are two fuses marked "engine" underneath the hood. I'll try those or perhaps the fuel fuses. If anyone has a "sure fire" fuse to pull, post up!
I like my Evo. I wouldn't want it stolen.
Even if I were given a new replacement. It's less than a year old to begin with!

No, just pull the main fuse (its a big one) out from under the hood. You can use a relay to open the starter wire up as well, but, make sure you attatch the relay to ignition instead of 12v's. You don;t want that relay open all the time, as it will drain your battery after a few days.
Pull the igntion fusable link. I was blowing mine in my DSM and it wouldn't do #$^%. I believe it was a pink 30A "molar"... It looked like a big pink tooth. Should be under the hood in the Evo as well.
