just because a paint color is no longer made from a manufacure dont meen you cant get it. look at older cars there paint is not made no more but they get the color codes that was used and make it. this is what they will do for you. you will be fine. the paint you get made will probly be beter then what mitsu put on anyway.

Still waiting for my wing to come in but the brake is in and they are replacing both with no hard time at all.

The dealership is Ocean Mitsubishi in Warwick, RI. Phone # is (401) 886-0700

Hope this helps.

hey evodan2004,
someone is giving you a line of bs big time. the tsb on the rear spoiler clearly states that if YOU tell them you want an evo 8 spoiler they HAVE to replace it with one, it says in big bold letters that they can not just replace the spoiler with what the feel like. and no they did not stop making them, they cant. by law any manufacture has to make available for 10 years any part for a vehicle that they have made. not that isnt to say that the full c/f wing is back ordered, which both wings are.
now on to your brembo's. that dealer can replace the calipers with new ones ONLY if their facing DPSM (district parts and service manager) approves it. the dealership has to take pictures of the calipers and email them to the DPSM or the DPSM has to come out and visually inspect your vehicle before he/she will approve the replacement.
It is unfortunate that you are having a difficult time getting these items repaired. I can not speak for that dealership or the circumstances that pertain to your car, but the usual time frame to replace both the calipers and the wing that I have ran into has been about 2-3 months, due to the calipers having to come from different sources and the back order on the particular wings.
If you have less than 3 years or 36k, which ever came up first from the original In-service date, you shouldn't been having any problem. If you continue have problems ask them for their customer relations number and file a report, if they won't give that number, then p/m me and I will give it to you.

Hey no problem man, like I said they have been very helpful with me. You just have to be polite and firm. Glad to see this is working out for you. Let me know when you're in RI; I'm here until May 22nd.

You're absolutely right about the 10 years. Didn't think of that before.

this is what i thought. but i figured since the wing is basicly the same and is same style mitsu will just replace it with the new one. can you find out anymore info on this. i will look around to. i still have my 03 wing. i wont give it back till this is set in stone. the dealer can keep that wing for all i care.
