Where is the ECU?? - i'm installing a turbo timer this weekend, and i just want to cut down on my install time... That and i'm way too lazy to go hunting...

 

probably like the lancer...behind the glove box. pop out the glove and take a look.

 

thanx , that'll be the first place i look... is the glovebox easy to pot out... again i'm too lazy to fiddle with it...

 

yeah, there is a black thing on the left side of the box in the back that you pop out (you'll see it) an dthen just fold the box as open as it goes (to the floor) and it will pull out toward you. There is then a black plastic piece covering all the wires going into the ecu...just slide that out....and there you go. I find it easier to remove the 3 bolts holding the ecu vertical. That way you can hold the ecu flat and not have to get on the floor of your car to do stuff.
