question about the air dam

just a little question for those who got their evo with the front air dam, i know the one they have in japan are made with carbon fiber. is it the same as the one we are gettin here? or is it just plain black? thanks alot.

That didn't answer his question. He wants to know if the ones we have the option for in the US are made of carbon just like the ones in the link you linked him to. He knows what the overseas version is like.

As far as the answer, I really don't know. I haven't seen them in person and I don't know anyone yet who has purchased a pair.

Only description I could find is this:
"Front Corner Air Dam

I belive the one in US... is just black.. it's not carbon fiber.. i could be wrong tho..

I have them on my car already, THEY ARE PLAIN BLACK but the look awesome on my Tarmac. Nice solid pieces, it makes the car look wider, Imagine the poor sucker looking in his rear view at me pulling up to him!!!

They are not carbon fiber, but a fiberglass type of material. It's definitely not plastic. I think the price was around $250-$300. Installation is a big pain in the butt, so that might jack the price a bit.
