Car pulling to either left or right while driving on uneven roads??

390 Miles so far. Roads are all messed up around here (LIE, Cross Bronx, Mahattan, etc.)
With that said, I recently noticed my car started pulling either to the left or to the right while driving on uneven roads?? It's almost as if the steering wheel "wants to turn left or rigth". Has anybody else run into this??
I've checked tire pressure this morning. They were all set to 35 psi. I've set them to 32 on the front and 29 in the rear. I still feel the pull to the left or to the right depending on the road.
Thanks for the bandwidth....

Yeah, I know what you're talking about, I think its normal due to the fact the tires are wide and are designed for Max grip, so on uneven road it'll shift left or right to get max traction.

That "problem"(even though it isn't a problem) has to do with the suspension on the evo. Yes it will happen to everyone that has an evo.

I had the same problem when I switched to Yokohoma racing
tires on my 94 eclipse GSX, the tires are so hard and wide
225/50/16 that the car would try to follow all road imperfections
and make the ride very harsh. I also live in LI are in NY so I know
what you are refering to, you can switch to Dunloop SP8000, they
will make the ride much sowter and the car will not pull to the
sides the only problem is the car will not do as good in turns as it
use too.

ANY car will pull to either side of an uneven road, regardless of tire size. it all depends on where you position your tires in the lane. The reason that it pull is becuase either edge of the tire's footprint is being guided along the imprefection in the road.

Yes, I noticed this too. Sometimes it is downright scary. It pulls the wheel out of your hands if you are not hanging on tight. Mostly though my Evo tracks real straight on smooooth roads which I am happy about. I guess until some large bumps in the road find me and throw the wheels out of joint...

I am in western Suffolk, where are you?

I'm not sure about every car pulling to either side.... My girlfriend's car doesn't do it or if it does, I don't notice it. It could be as some of you said, tires, suspension??? or a combination of both??

yeah mine does this too.. its like of you leave the wheel slack slightly off dead center, it will want to pull that way. you get used to it.. remember the whole warning about driving w/ both hands? not always necessary, but i definitely do when im driving on rough roads or next to a barrier.

You're right it can be real scary. Sometimes I really have to hang on to the wheel in order to correct. So now that I know others are experiencing the same issue, I'll wait and see if anyone comes out with a way to alleviate the issue.
Thanks

If you want rally inspired road feel I don't know how much can be eliminated. This car brings the road to the steering wheel by design. I don't care for the road steering the car either but I want input from the road and am willing to sacrifice certain luxuries for it.

Its not a problem it is a side effect. It is cause by the stiff suspension with very little play in it. The reason you don't notice it in most cars is because the suspension is tuned for ride quality not turning as a result it isn't as stiff. The only way to "fix" it would be to make the suspension less stiff and why would you want that?
