not sure went there once to see what they would offer me for IX mr right after I bought, They had some guy inspect, go see what it would "auction for", Basically they offered me 28,000 for it with only 3000 miles on it. The inspector told that they couldn't sell it at car max because it wouldn't sell quick so the best offer they got from whoever they sell cars to was the 28k.

I'm not sure if what they put in the computer is accessible by all car max's.
I just wouldn't bring it to them, your better off selling it on your own.

Your carmax quote is good for 7 days of 500 miles ( or 300) I cant remember. It should be the same quote pretty much everywhere you go. They keep your car info in the computer so they wont give you a different price at a different car max

 

I went like three weeks ago and the quoted me 18600. I punched the guy.

 

I cant believe you havent sold your car yet. I thought the hard to sell yellow thing was BS but it seems that it isnt. Other people are selling theres left and right.

 

I went to 2 Carmaxes in my area on the same day when I was thinking about getting the IX. I guess the info had not been entered in the computer yet because they offered me 1k more at the second location.

 

Just sell it outright! They are not doing you any favors! Hell they sell they're cars to other dealers so I know they aren't offering crap.

 

i wish i could man...went through every venue possible so far and no dice...i'm spending so much money on classified sites it getting crazy...just getting frustrated at this point..
