Hey, does anybody by chance know of a way to find out who the previous owner(s) of your car is? I'm just curious because I don't think Carfax will tell you, and I would like to ask the last person who owned the car what type of mods were done to it. I found a piece of paper in the glove box that had a list of mods, some of which were crossed off, and some were like parts the car has, but different brands and stuff...

Basically trying to find more history on my evo. If anyone knows how to do that, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

 

Title should have names of previous owners

 

are you sure? I thought that a new title is reprinted for every owner. Maybe the DMV could help you out.

 

I had the same issue, you can ask the dealer you got the car from what the person's name was. They can give give you that much, you just have to get on Switchboard.com and do the rest.

 

I think you get a new title with no previous owners on it if I'm not mistaken. Also, I bought it at a used car dealership, and they bought the car from an auction... That being said, anybody else have thoughts on this?
