+1 for the WORKS filter.
Or you can get the less popular BMC filter. (http://www.bmcairfilters.com/) <- that is what they use on F1 cars.

Having seen the K&N Filter, I don't think you should use it. It has some rubber on the sides that restricts air flow. Totally not worth upgrading to... Someone should take a pic and show you the reduced surface area, even compared to stock!

I would recommend the BMC Air Filter...you can learn about BMC and their history at http://www.bmcairfilters.com/ and they can be ordered from http://www.ktrperformance.com

We did a test on my car...when I showed up with the K&N filter installed vs the BMC Air Filter and the difference is night and day. The BMC has much more service area (the K&N filter has a very thick plastic housing which reduces the actual amount of filter area). BMC all the way!

drop in air filter = 5hp more.

I tested Ralliart vs K&N. I went with K&N; just need to dry the excess of oil when new.

I can say that after a drop in air filter the car seems to have a slight better top end.

The WORKS filter is really awesome. I would get it and wait if needed.
